The information in this document outlines how you should approach Council when planning to run an event to ensure all regulations are met, as well as outlining the role Council has in event compliancy.
All contact regarding events should go through the Events Unit.
Guide to Successful Events in Casey
This guide was developed to assist community event organisers in planning their events and ensuring the event is safe, problem free and successful. It identifies appropriate laws and policies and provides event organisers with the name of the relevant Council Officer, government or peak body that they may have to contact in order to become compliant.
Council will evaluate all requests to discharge fireworks in the City of Casey on a case-by-case basis

All event organisers conducting events within the City of Casey must complete an Event Approval Application Form
Submit your event to the Casey Events Calendar
Your event may be eligible for a FREE listing in the City of Casey's Calendar of Community Events which appears on the website and is published in a colour brochure twice a year with 5,000 brochures printed. It's a great way to reach your target market!
