Environmental Volunteers

The City of Casey has a number of Friends Groups who coordinate activities such as tree planting days, which enhance our local nature reserves and provide habitat for our wildlife.  

Friends Groups play a vital role in the improvement of our local environment. Further information on the City of Casey's Friends Groups and Landcare Groups can be found below.

Friends of Colley Street Reserve

Location: Colley Street, Pearcedale (Mel Ref  140 H5)

Services:  A dedicated group of local residents who are passionate about the protection and preservation of the native flora and fauna located within the Colley street Reserve. The group meet regularly to plan and conduct works within the reserve. Activities include Revegetation, Weed removal, Litter removal, fence and path maintenance.

Friends of Cardinia Sanctuary - Berwick

Location: Allan Street Reserve (Mel Ref 111 J9)

Services: An active group of volunteers working towards maintaining a healthy ecosystem. The group meet every 4th Sunday of the month to remove environmental and noxious weeds to encourage natural regeneration.

Friends Of Eumemmering Creek - Doveton

Location: Eumemmering Creek between Doveton Avenue and Princess Highway
