Bunjil Place will host the inaugural Hawker Street Food Festival on Saturday 18 November with some of Melbourne’s best Asian-fusion street food vendors transforming the Plaza into a vibrant night-time market style event.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, you can enjoy the very best Asian taste sensations, live music and DJ spinning the decks as well as a heap of interactive activities for the whole family. Pick up a drink at the Hawker Street Bar, featuring craft beer, wine and specialty Asian-fusion cocktails while challenging your friends to one of the giant outdoor games or take a slower pace and visit Glitter Gypsy who will make you sparkle or watch some dumpling making demonstrations.

Food vendors include:

  • Burn City Smokers
  • Korean Fried Chicken
  • White Guy Cooks Thai
  • Ghost Kitchen
  • Hello Saigon
  • Wrap It Roll It
  • Dots Stop
  • Snow Ghost

City of Casey Mayor Cr Sam Aziz said Bunjil Place now lets us host these city-style experiences in our own backyard.

“No longer do we have to travel into Melbourne to enjoy these experiences and I have no doubt that the Hawker Street Festival will be the first of many wonderful events to come to the Bunjil Place Plaza.

“I look forward to seeing everyone come down and enjoy the event, soak up the atmosphere and have a good time together”.
