Audit & Ethics Committee

Audit & Ethics Committee Membership Expression of Interest

The City of Casey is a popular place to be, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, an abundance of parks and leisure facilities, and a vibrant arts, cultural, community and civic precinct known as Bunjil Place. We pride ourselves on our diverse and welcoming environment. Everyone is encouraged to be innovative and to continuously improve what they do.

As a valued, independent member of our Audit & Ethics committee, you will thrive on critically assessing and questioning our performance to support our strategic direction. With relevant experience and familiarity with Local Government, you will understand the role of Corporate Governance in organisations and be able to influence and build rapport at all levels.

The Committee consists of 2 Councillors and 3 independent members and provides independent assurance, oversight and assistance to Council in the areas of risk, control, governance, financial reporting and performance.

A standard fee inclusive of travel, preparation and all other costs associated with attending meetings will be paid for each meeting attended (currently 6 meetings per annum).

Expressions of interest will be open until Wednesday 19 April. View the Committee’s Audit & Ethics Charter.
