Who's Who in Youth Services

The City of Casey employs over a dozen staff in its Youth Services team- their roles and contact details are listed below.

Team Leader Youth Services

Manages the overall planning and provision of services and programs for young people and their families. Provides support and linkages to key stakeholders in the youth sector and advocates for the inclusion and recognition of young people in the community.

Youth Development Officer

Coordinates a number of civic programs and activities for young people, provides networking and linkages for youth service providers and advocates for and on behalf of young people.

Coordinator Youth Info Centres

Coordinates the planning, development and operation of Youth Information Centres across Casey.

Youth Workers, Mobile Youth Info Centre

Provides services, programs and a referral service through the Seasonal Vibe - Mobile Youth Information Centre to geographically and socially isolated young people in Casey. Also provides school holiday program activities and attends community events.

 Youth Info Centre Officers

Provides information, assessment and referral from Council’s Youth Info Centres.

Coordinator Youth Programs

Provides a range of personal and skill development programs to young people and professional development to organisations working with young people.

Youth Participation Officer

Plans, develops and delivers a range of participation activities for young people including Teenage School Holiday Program, FReeZA program in conjunction with a committee of young people, National Youth Week activities, personal development programs and activities that increase young people's participation.

Multicultural Youth Programs Officer

Develops and delivers programs that support participation of young people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Coordinator YouthLinx

Coordinates the planning, development and operation of the YouthLinx program for young people with poor social skills, low self esteem, family or personal issues as well as providing programs and projects that support parents and carers to have positive relationships with their adolescent children.

YouthLinx Workers         

Deliver the after school YouthLinx program, camps and other activities at various locations across Casey.

Coordinator Youth Support Program

Coordinates the overall youth support program ensuring legislative requirements are met and has a case load providing confidential individual support and referral to at risk young people and famililes on a range of issues.  Located at the Civic Centre, Narre Warren, Cranbourne and also provides support at various locations in the community.

Youth Support Workers

Provide confidential individual support and referral to young people and families on a range of issues including relationships, family conflict, sexuality, education, legal issues etc.
