Casey Cluster of Neighbourhood Houses and Community Learning Centres

City of Casey’s Neighbourhood Houses and Community Learning Centres have come together and, with support from students from Chisholm TAFE - Cranbourne, have developed a new website that brings all of Casey’s Neighbourhood Houses and Community Houses together on the one site.

The City of Casey Maternal and Child Health Service operates from the Balla Balla Community Centre 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, for bookings please contact the Maternal and Child Health central booking line on 9705 5590. Bookings cannot be made through Balla Balla.

The Balla Balla Community Centre is located about 1 km from Cranbourne’s CBD.  This is a place for the community to come together in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere to socialise and participate in an activity, learn a new skill or just drop in and share a cuppa.  Programs will be developed for all needs and age group – from the very young to the more senior community members. A warm welcome is extended to all who wish to pop in and have a look at our modern facility and join in one of our friendly activities.

Brentwood Park Neighbourhood House is located on the south side of Berwick on Bemersyde Drive. The Centre is a place for the community to come together for different activities. There are playgroups, yoga and pilates classes, weight loss groups, art, drama and dance classes for children and social groups for the more senior members of the community. The Berwick Bridge Club and the Casey Life Activities group meet at Brentwood Park on a regular basis. The House is run by staff and volunteers and we are always looking for people willing to give some time, so if you are thinking of volunteering we would love to hear from you.

The Berwick Neighbourhood Centre Inc provides community centres which, through the provision of family, recreational and educational programs, encourage personal growth, peer support and friendships between all members, regardless of their status within the community. We provide quality low cost childcare sessions and playgroups, numerous support and shared interest groups and various classes including Strength Training for the Older Adult, Computer Training for the Terrified, crafts, dancing and karate. Berwick Toy Library and Parkhill Playhouse Playgroups share our venues.

Berwick Neighbourhood Centre has two venues - 112 High Street and Timbarra Community Hall, Timbarra Way, Berwick. Timbarra Community Hall is available for hire on Saturday evenings for weddings, parties, etc.
