  • Two day textile workshop
    Date: Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 July 10.00 am - 2.00 pm
    Join us on the school holidays and get crafty with textiles. On day one you will screen print your own fabric to create a unique fabric design. During day two of the workshop, you will create a purse or wallet from your own fabric using hand stitching techniques.

  • Resin Art Workshop
    Date: Tuesday 11 July 10.00 am - 2.00 pm
    Join us during the school holidays to create a resin-art canvas artwork. During this workshop you will learn how to use resin and will also have the opportunity to create your own artwork to take home and keep.

  • FReeZA Battle of the Sounds

     Friday 7 July 2017
    Time: 6.15 pm – 10.30 pm
    Venue: Narre Warren Learning Centre, 1 Malcolm Court, Narre Warren
    Cost: $10 with a pass/$12 without (discount passes are available at all Casey Youth Information Centres)
    FReeZA Battle of the Sounds is back this year at the Narre Warren Learning Centre and is set to be bigger and better than ever. Local acts competing for prizes from Pony Music and The Factory Rehearsal Centre for the Arts include:

    • Social on the Veranda
    • Zach Gulivan and the Monkey Bunz
    • Nerve Endings
    • Harini
    • Mental Thunder
    • Kane

    Every attendee will go into the draw to win door prizes supplied by Remote Control Records, Milk! Records, Pieater and Grill’d.
    This is a fully supervised drug, alcohol and smoke free event.

  • Fresh Words Writing Competition

    Unleash the storyteller in you and enter the Fresh Words Young Writers Competition! If you are a budding author, journalist or song writer, embrace this opportunity to put your imagination on paper and win some great prizes!
    Entry is open to Casey’s young people in Grade 5 – Year 12 in the following categories:
  • Teenage School Holiday Program
    The City of Casey Teenage School Holiday Program is open to young people of all abilities aged 12-17 years who live, study or have strong connections to the City of Casey. Each school holidays a wide variety of low cost, fully supervised activities are offered. The program offers young people from Casey the opportunity to make valuable connections with their community and peers, while having a lot of fun. Parents and guardians are encouraged to book early as limited spaces are available.
    Bookings open Wednesday 14 June.

      Activity information
      : Can you conquer the muddy fitness challenge conducted by a professional Personal Trainer? Test your speed and endurance and try not to get too muddy!

      Join Melbourne Street Artists from Blender Studio for a street art demonstration and then work with street artists to learn street art techniques and create your own stencil piece on a canvas to take home.
    • Tuesday 11 July – Bounce Trampolines and Adventure Course

      Bounce is a massive indoor trampoline world that includes interconnected trampolines and over 500 square meters of foam pits to land on. Fun activities will be conducted by the Bounce staff such as trampoline dodgeball.
