  • Just for Girls – Narre Warren Youth Information Centre
    Date: Tuesday 7 February – Tuesday 21 March 3.30pm-5.00pm
    Come along and make some positive friendships, while joining in fun recreational activities and taking all things ‘girls’!

    Date: Monday 6 February – Monday 20 March 3.30pm-5.00pm
    Come along and make some positive friendships, while joining in fun recreational activities and taking all things ‘girls’!
  • Sew What – Hampton Park Youth Information Centre
    Date: Monday 6 March until Monday 20 March 3.30pm-5.00pm
    Come along to learn the current craft trend of embroidery. Local community members have first-hand experience and will guide you to create your very own handmade design.
  • Cater Crew – Narre Warren Youth Information Centre
    Date: Friday 3 February – Friday 24 March  4.00pm-5.30pm
    Interested in hospitality and want to build your skills in the industry? Volunteer and be part of a team that plans menus, cooks and delivers a restaurant style service at Open Mic Night.
  • Virtual Reality – Cranbourne Youth Information Centre
    Date: Thursday 9 February – Thursday 23 March 3.30pm-5.00pm
    Experience the world of tomorrow.. Now! Step in to the world of Virtual Reality and play brand new games and explore new worlds! Playstation VR is strictly 12-17 years of age only.

  • Art Workshops
    Date:
    Monday 6 February - Monday 20 March
    Join us weekly for art workshops delivered by Melbourne-based artist Ben Guy. Over seven weeks we will explore a variety of art mediums through fun, relaxed workshops. You will have the opportunity to work with Ben to create your own art pieces to take home.
  • Get Involved – Hampton Park Youth Information Centre

    Get active in your community and explore the fantastic services available in Casey. Adventure to new destinations and discover ways you can get involved in your community! Limited places available.
  • Unite Alliance
    Date:
    Wednesday 8 February - Wednesday 22 March
    Unite Alliance is a fortnightly program open to all young people including Same Sex Attracted, Gender Diverse and allies. The program provides a safe space where young people can socialise, strengthen connections with their community and spend time with other like-minded individuals.
  • Get Around It
    Date:
    Thursday 9 February - Thursday 23 March
    Get Around It Thursdays is a community program for young people and their families to participate in a variety of activities. BBQ included.
  • Man Cave – Narre Warren Youth Information Centre

    Man Cave is an action packed program for young men aged 13-17 years of age. Chill out with boys, meet new friends and discuss ‘Man Business’!
  • Open Mic Night – Narre Warren Youth Information Centre

    Friday 10 February - Friday 24 March
    Enjoy an evening of music with great local talent and awesome food provided by the Cater Crew. Bring your guitar, have a sing or just watch others do it. We don’t judge. It’s all about having fun!
  • Casey Creations

    Casey Creations is a creative arts competition for young people who live, work or study within the City of Casey. This annual competition showcases the artistic talents of young people. Further information about Casey Creations will be released early 2017.

  • Casey Student Leaders Reception

    Thursday 23 March 2017
    Schools within the City of Casey will be invited Council’s annual reception to celebrate the appointment of School Captains and Student Leaders from across the City of Casey hosted by City of Casey Mayor. Schools will be invited early in Term One 2017 to nominate students to attend the event. For more information contact the Youth Services Team on 9705 5200.

  • Casey in Colour: Run for YOUth

    Casey in Colour: Run for YOUth is returning to Akoonah Park in 2017! Get ready for one action packed day of activities, food, community and colour!
  • Women’s Mentor Breakfast
    Date:
    Friday 28 April 2017
    Girl Guides Victoria and Women of Note are supported by the City of Casey Youth Services to host an annual Women's Mentor Breakfast. This event provides an opportunity for young people in Year 11 (or age equivalent) to connect with positive female role models, who are successful in their chosen career. Secondary Schools within the City of Casey will be invited, early in Term One to nominate up to four female Year 11 students to attend the breakfast.   • Teenage School Holiday Program Week 1
    • Gravity Zone
      Date: Monday 3 April
      Join us for two hours of trampolines and laser tag at Gravity Zone. Transport included (see back of flyer for details). BYO lunch/money and bottle of water.
    • Inflatable World
      Date: Tuesday 4 April
      Get ready for two hours of inflatable fun at inflatable world. The Dandenong Inflatable world stadium is a large-scale inflatable playground. Participants must wear socks. Transport included (see back of flyer for details). BYO lunch/money and bottle of water.
    • Rollerblading
      Date: Wednesday 5 April
      2 hours of rollerblading or skating. Transport included (see back of flyer for details). BYO lunch/money and bottle of water.
    • Yarra River Bike Ride
      Date: Thursday 6 April
      Join us for a bike ride along the Yarra river. The ride is suitable to all skill levels. We will then have lunch at Federation square. Transport included (see back of flyer for details). BYO lunch/money and bottle of water.
    • Escape Room
      Date: Friday 7 April
      Join us on an adventure like no other. Work your way out of our very own escape rooms! Together in teams work out if you can discover hidden clues and unsolved mysteries to earn your way to freedom. Transport NOT included. Lunch provided, BYO bottle of water.
  • Teenage School Holiday Program Week 2
    • Swim day at MSAC
      Date: Monday 10 April
      Come along for a great day with lots fun with the water slide and wave pool. Pizza Lunch is included. Max participants 30. Transport included (see back of flyer for details). Pizza Lunch Provided.
    • Clip ‘n’ Climb
      Date: Tuesday 11 April
      If you like adventures come to Clip and Climb with us and scale heights, explore the caves, and have lots of fun. Transport included (see back of flyer for details). Lunch included, BYO bottle of water.
    • Enchanted Garden and Zip Line
      Date: Wednesday 12 April
      Pass through the wonderful world of enchantment, including 6 Mazes & Gardens, 5 Tube Slides, Treetop Canopy Walk, Brain teasers & Sculpture walk. If you aren’t afraid of heights, try out the BIG Zip Line at 8m elevation. The experienced guides supervise as you take flight across the gardens on 2 zip-lines. Transport included (see back of flyer for details). BYO lunch/money and bottle of water.
    • Cooking Class
      Date: Thursday 13 April
      Join us for a morning of cooking where you will learn to make dishes which can be recreated at home. Transport included (see back of flyer for details). BYO lunch/money and bottle of water.

  • Push Start Battle of the Bands
    Date:
    Applications open Monday 17 April 2017
    The FReeZA Push Start competition showcases young musicians from around Victoria, giving them the opportunity to perform, gain local exposure, and win their way to a spot on the Grand Final line up. Local heats are hosted by FReeZA Committees each year from March to August, with the winners going on to compete in Regional Finals from October to December.   • Fresh Words Writing Competition

    Entries open July 2017
    Are you a budding author, poet, journalist or song writer?
    The Fresh Words competition was launched in 2008 for young writers who live, work or study in the City of Casey. It is an opportunity for writers to showcase their work, and potentially win great cash prizes! Fresh Words opens in Term 3 each year, with an awards evening held towards the end of November.
  • Teenage School Holiday Program
    The City of Casey Teenage School Holiday Program is open to young people of all abilities aged 12-17 years who live, study or have strong connections to the City of Casey. Each school holidays a wide variety of low cost, fully supervised activities are offered. The program offers young people from Casey the opportunity to make valuable connections with their community and peers, while having a lot of fun. Parents and guardians are encouraged to book early as limited spaces are available.
    Further information about the July Teenage School Holiday Program will be released in June 2017.
