About Youth Services

The City of Casey works with young people aged 10 to 25 years who live, work, study or have strong links to the Casey community.

Services include Youth Counselling and Support, Teenage School Holiday Program, Youth Information Centres, Recreation programs, In School programs, the Spectrum Entertainment Committee and the Casey Youth Action Committee. 

The Youth Services team is also responsible for youth events including Freeza and holds annual events such as Fired Up! Hip Hop Tournament, Fresh Words, Casey Creations and Schools on Stage.

Casey 360 Bus

The Casey 360 is a state-of-the-art mobile Youth Information Centre that services the suburbs of the City of Casey. 

Casey 360, a converted low entry passenger bus, is a state-of-art Mobile Youth Information Centre and provides information on a variety of issues relevant to young people.

Casey 360 provides activities, information and support to young people across the City of Casey, including secondary schools, where it provides group programs and lunchtime recreation activities.

Casey 360 makes visits during lunch times to secondary schools within Casey. Keep an eye out for Casey 360 at your school.

Youth Counselling and Support Service

The Youth Counselling and Support team deliver a free, confidential service that provides young people aged 12 to 25 with someone to talk to and assist them when things are difficult to manage.  The program provides short term counselling and medium term support for those young people who need it, as well as parent support sessions.

SAYFT.net (Support At Your Finger Tips) is an online mental health resource kit developed specifically for the Casey community. The selection of resources and links has come from reputable service providers both local state and nationally recognised and who have an ongoing commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of young people in the region. Casey Youth Services Network

The Casey Youth Services Network provides opportunities for workers within Casey and across the region to share resources and information, identify and address issues that arise for young people and their families. It promotes and encourages agencies to develop partnerships and a coordinated approach to the development of youth services within the municipality.

The Casey Youth Services Network meetings run on the first Wednesday of every month for Schools and Youth related service providers.
