What is Volunteering?
Volunteering is very important in the Casey community. Hundreds of local volunteers regularly give their time and energy to assist others in the community.

Community Selection Panellist – Expression of Interest
The City of Casey is looking for residents to participate on community panels to assess award nominations and grant applications such as Casey Australia Day Awards, Casey Volunteer Awards and the Community Grant Program. The panels sit a few times per year, to discuss and recommend award nominees and winners along with allocation of grant funds. As a panel member you will have flexibility to accept or decline invitations to participate based on your availability.
All residents over the age of 18 years are eligible to apply. In line with Council's Access and Inclusion policy to ‘provide equity of access for all people within the community’ Council would especially welcome applications from young people aged 18-25 years, new residents, residents from a diverse community background and women, to ensure we have a balanced community representation.
Expressions of interest open on 17 July 2017 and will close at 5.00pm on 11 September 2017.
If you would like to be on a community panel visit the Smartygrants website.
