City of Casey Community Services Transport Program

The Volunteer Transport Program is a service that provides transport to residents of the City of Casey by volunteers. The program aims to assist residents to remain independent and stay actively involved in the community. Volunteer drivers are available to transport eligible clients to medical appointments and to visit family at nursing homes and hospitals.

The Community Transport Service can assist disadvantaged, not-for-profit community groups within Casey that require transport. A range of mini-buses can be provided. Conditions and eligibility criteria apply for organisations and drivers.

City of Casey Disabled Parking Permits

The City of Casey parking permits is part of a state-wide Disabled Persons’ Parking Scheme currently operating in Victoria. The scheme provides for two permit categories with varying parking concessions based on the applicant’s need for assistance.

Multi Purpose Taxi Program

The Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) assists with the travel needs of people with severe and permanent disabilities by offering subsidized taxi fares to members.  You can become part of the MPTB if you meet the residential, medical and financial criteria.

Travellers Aid Disability Access Service (TADAS)

TADAS is available to all people with disabilities. It aims to encourage a greater use of the service by people from language backgrounds other than English. Services provided include information for people with disabilities visiting Melbourne and Victoria and personal care for people with disabilities who require assistance with meals, drinks and toileting.
