The Recreation Access Program (RAP) is a leisure respite program funded by Home and Community Care for individuals with disabilities. RAP supports eligible participants in a group setting to access leisure opportunities available within the local or broader community.
Leisure activities may include attending sporting matches, theatre/stage shows, movies and ten pin bowling leagues just to name a few. RAP offers a range of leisure programs for adults, teenagers and children. The program operates on a one-to-five ratio. Individuals requiring additional support are requested to arrange their own support. The Community Care Department may be able to assist with providing this additional support. RAP has three pick-up and drop-off points within the City of Casey which are located in Narre Warren, Hampton Park and Cranbourne. RAP does not provided individual transport.
