Please note:  Payment for programs must be paid in full prior to the first class and can be paid at the Lynbrook Community Centre from Monday to Friday between 9.00 am – 5.30 pm.  Places are limited, so please book your spot to avoid disappointment.

Regular Activities for all

  • Art Classes - Back by popular demand
    Dates: Wednesdays 18 April - 27 June
    Session 1 Junior Art Classes (6 - 10 years) - 4.30 pm - 5.15 pm
    Session 2 Adolescent Art Classes (11 - 14 years) - 5.30 pm - 6.15 pm
    Cost:  Term fee $80.00 payable before first session. Casual fee $10.00 per session.
    Encouraging our young people to explore and express themselves through art. An excellent opportunity for your children to gain experience in a range of art mediums. Provided by a local qualified art teacher. Art kit can be purchased at the centre for $12.00 per person, includes a Visual Art Diary and set of drawing pencils. Bookings essential.

  • Get Moving for older adults
    Date: Thursdays 9.30 am - 10.15 am
    Cost: $8 per session
    Time to get going and keep moving! This program is a great way to stay fit and healthy. Our qualified YMCA personal trainer will tailor a program to suit individuals.

  • Table Tennis
    Date: Wednesdays, 2 May – 6 June
    Time:  12.00 pm – 1.00 pm
    Come along and enjoy social table tennis. Coaches from Table Tennis Victoria available to give you some tips and tricks. Bookings essential.

  • Tai Chi
    Date: Fridays 20 April – 29 June
    Time: 9.30 am – 10.30 am
    Cost: $8 per session
    Improve your health and vitality with the gentle exercises of Tai Chi. You will leave the class feeling calm, focused and energized. Booking is essential.

  • Justice of the Peace service
    Date: Tuesdays 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm
    Cost: FREE
    Providing an independant and objective witness to documents people use for official or legal purposes including:

    • attesting the execution of a document
    • witnessing an affidavit for use in court
    • witnessing a statutory declaration
    • certifying a true copy of an original document
    • certifying a person’s identity
  • Lynbrook Book Club
    Date: Second Thursday of the month - 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm.
    Cost: $10 joining fee
    Passionate about literature? Come along and join the book club. Read a book each month and then come together to discuss and chat about the book.

Community Events

  • Community Dinner
    Date: Friday 6 July
    Time: 6.30 pm – 9.30 pm
    Cost: $20 per adult, $15 per child under 12
    Warm up with your friends and neighbours for the annual winter warmer community dinner at Lynbrook Community Centre. Enjoy a range of food from roti to roast, Indian, vegetarian, pavlova and more! Dance to live music and enjoy some great company. Bookings essential. Please provide your dietary requirements at time of booking.

School Holiday Program

  • Let’s Cook Kids
    Date: Tuesday 3 July
    Time:  10.30 am – 11.30 am
    Cost: $15.00 per session
    Come and cook with us and learn how to make an oh-sodelicious food. Dying to know how we do it? Become a budding chef in our kitchen as you discover all our delicious secrets. For six to twelve years. Bookings essential.

  • Table Tennis for Fun
    Date: Wednesday 4 July
    Time: 10.00 am – 11.00 am
    Come along and try our new activity table tennis for fun. Learn a new skill with coaching available during the session.

  • Mini Ninja Session
    Date: Thursday 5 July
    Time: 10.30 am – 11.30 am
    Cost: $10.00 per session
    This Mini Ninja session provides kids with a fun approach to fitness as they work on strength, conditioning, flexibility, problem solving, and coordination. Bookings essential.

  • Get Creative - Workshop for Kids
    Date: Wednesday 11 July
    Time:  10.30 am – 11.30 am
    Cost: $10 per session
    Come along and get creative in our fun, engaging and inspiring workshop. For six to twelve years. Bookings essential.

  • Family Movie Night
    Date: Thursday 12 July
    Time:  6.00 pm - 8.0pm
    Cost:  FREE
    Wear your favourite PJs and enjoy popcorn and a pop top whilst watching the Peter Rabbit movie. Bookings essential.
