Quick Response Grants

Please note that Council adopted a revised Grants Policy and as a result there are new guidelines for this program. Please ensure you read the guidelines before submitting an application.

The Quick Response Grants is a program of small grants available to eligible organisations throughout the year to support the establishment and delivery of valuable services, programs, activities and events to the Casey community.  Council recognizes that sometimes local organisations require small amounts of funding throughout the year. Council’s Quick Response Grants program provides funding of up to $1,000 to:

  • assist with an unforeseen expense or urgent issue that poses a risk to the function of an existing community group/program/event.
  • take advantage of an unexpected opportunity to benefit the group and/or the wider Casey community, which needs to be acted on within a short time frame.
  • support the establishment of a new community group or club within the first 12 months of operation.

Please note, there is a limit of 2 applications per group per calendar year.

Applicants are notified of the outcome of their application within 5 to 10 business days.
