Brokerage information and guidelines

City of Casey Social Support Brokerage Funding

Brokerage funding is currently available to support organisations to deliver social support group programs to eligible residents of the City of Casey.

Organisations can apply for the funding via two streams:

  1. Home and Community Care (HACC) Planned Activity Groups
    HACC Planned Activity Groups aim to support people who are under 65 years of age (or under 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) to participate in activities to increase social inclusion, community participation, and build their daily living skills.

  2. Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Social Support Groups
    CHSP Social Support Groups aim to support people aged 65 years and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) to participate in structured group activities that are designed to develop, maintain and support social interaction and independent living

Please note that funding applications need to be completed online via the City of Casey’s grants website (applications will be open between 3rd-14th April).
