The 2013 Casey Kids Carnival was held on Saturday 23 March at Akoonah Park in Berwick. It was a huge success with more than 8,000 people coming along to enjoy the free family fun day.
Thousands of children were kept entertained all day by the many performers of the main stage. Po from Kung Fu Panda was a highlight and children took the opportunity to meet him and have their photo taken in a meet-and-greet session after the show.
Local performers entertained on the Community Stage throughout the day. The Circus, Origami and painting workshops, along with the animal farm were also popular attractions, as were the rides, face painting and roving entertainers.
The Casey Kids Carnival is an annual event which continues to grow in popularity each year.
