Building Interim Regulation 2017 – Part 326 (1)
Applications for Part 326 (1) are usually used to supply information often included in the Section 32’s for a property that is being sold.
The following information is provided on a Part 326 (1) certificate:
a) Details of any permit or certificate of final inspection issued in the preceding 10 years; and
c) details of any current notice and/or order issued by the relevant building surveyor under the Act.
Building Interim Regulations 2017 - Part 326 (2)
Applications for Part 326 (2) are usually used for any vacant or established property where you intend to build. This information is usually obtained by Building Surveyors, Architects, associated professionals, or even property owners, so that they may ensure the design of proposed building works meet regulatory requirements.
The following information is provided on a Part 326 (2) certificate:
Flood prone. Reg 802
Termite Area. Reg 803
Alpine area/significant snowfalls. Reg 805
Designated land uncontrolled Overland drainage. Reg 806
Please note, Building Interim Regulations 2017 – Part 326 (1) and Part 326 (2) both carry a fee of $52.20. To receive information on both mentioned parts, a fee of $104.40 is applicable.
