The Factory is home to many of Casey’s diverse arts groups. From disability performing arts programs, to dance, music tuition, theatre and music groups, there is something for everyone. School Holiday Activities
The School Holidays offer a chance for hirers to program additional activities during the quieter weeks of the year. The Factory welcomes the opportunity to work with hirers in delivering holiday activity programs. Past activities have included: Circus arts, photography, radio broadcasting, sound recording, choir, singing, dance, audio engineering, video production, cartooning etc.
We welcome you to come and run your own workshops during the holidays.

School band program
The Factory has a primary and secondary school band program that operates between 9:00am and 3:30pm Monday-Friday. Our program is located in the Loud Band Room and is ideally suited to artists working towards an end of term concert or VCE project. Our competitive rates include PA system, guitars and amplifiers, and drum kit. Please note that this program is subject to room availability.
Primary and secondary schools: $57.25 per 3hr session (including amps and instruments)
BATS Theatre Company
BATS was formed in 1989, and since then has aimed to produce a variety of quality shows for local audiences. BATS produces a number of theatrical performances each year including youth shows, as well as other dramas and comedies.

Nsync Dance Academy
Fun and Energetic Dance Classes for all ages, girls and boys, taught by experienced and qualified teachers in a relaxed and Non Competitive environment. Styles include Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Acrobatics, Conditioning and more. Free Trials available for all classes.

J Step Dance Performing Arts is a locally based talent school offering classes in dance, drama and singing. Classes are available for 3 year olds right up to adults, catering to a range of levels. Andy Zammit has been a dancer and entertainer for nearly 20 years. He runs many dance classes around Melbourne each week. His program every Wednesday 10:00am-11:45pm at The Factory in rehearsal Room 1. ‘Andy’s Discobility’ is a Rock ‘n’ Roll dance class, catering to people with a disability.

Speyside Highland Dancers
Speyside Highland Dancers are a group of traditional highland dancers who train for competition, exams, concerts and fun. We specialise in competitive dancing and are proud to have in our group many National and International Championship Title holders. Dancers are trained in traditional highland as well as modern celtic choreography.
Beginner dancers are welcome from 4 years of age.

The Groove Nation
The Groove Nation is a unique Dance Company which teaches styles such as Bhangra, one of the folk Dances of North India from the State of Punjab, HipHop, House & Bollywood Dance Styles. We mix them up to bring out a Fusion of all the Styles.

Te Hononga O Nga Iwi (THONI - tee honey)
We are a Kapa Haka group (Maori performing arts group) based in the South-East suburbs of Melbourne, united together purely for the passion we have for our culture! With a majority of our members having never done Kapa haka before, we relish in teaching our Maori people (an others alike) who have never had the opportunity to live and learn about our culture. We have an adults group every Friday night in Cranbourne and a children’s group every fortnight in Dandenong.

Rosie Kalber Performing Arts Studio
Rosie has toured Australia as a Professional Vocalist, performing in venues such as the Adelaide Convention Centre, Alice Springs Casino, Sydney Museum, Hobart Casino, Crown Casino, plus many more, and currently runs the entertainment studio Miss Rosie Weddings + Events.
A sought after Vocal Coach, Rosie has taught lead child performers from the musical Mary Poppins, X Factor Live Show Contestants, ARIA Award Winning Artists and Australian Movie Actors.

Cranbourne Lions Concert Band
The Cranbourne Lions Concert Band rehearses Tuesday evenings 8:00pm to 10:00pm (youth band from 7:00pm). The community band has over 40 members from varied and diverse backgrounds. They play at an assortment of community and municipal functions throughout the year as well as hosting the Casey Concert Band Festival in May. Events include: Variety Concerts, "Community in the Parks" afternoons, music festivals, concerts aligned with the City of Casey’s Aging Positively initiative, workshops and rehearsals with college bands fostering music education, the Berwick show, Christmas Carols and more. New members of any age and experience welcome.
